Americký úřad pro patenty a ochranné známky zamítl žádost společnosti Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) o registraci ochranné známky „Robotaxi“ pro její vozidla, informoval ve středu TechCrunch s odvoláním na podané dokumenty.

Další žádost společnosti Tesla o registraci ochranné známky „Robotaxi“ pro její připravovanou službu přepravy osob je podle zprávy stále v šetření úřadu.

USPTO vydalo v úterý „nefinální rozhodnutí“ ohledně žádosti o registraci ochranné známky Robotaxi, což znamená, že Tesla má tři měsíce na podání odpovědi, jinak úřad žádost zamítne, dodává zpráva.

Žádosti společnosti Tesla o ochrannou známku pro termín „Cybercab“ byly zastaveny kvůli tomu, že jiné společnosti usilují o podobné ochranné známky s předponou „Cyber“, uvádí TechCrunch.

Tesla na žádost agentury Reuters o komentář okamžitě nereagovala.

Minulý měsíc Tesla uvedla, že její plán zavést do června v texaském Austinu „autonomní přepravní službu za peníze“ zůstává v platnosti.
