Revolut plánuje expanzi ve Francii v hodnotě 1,1 miliardy dolarů a požádá o bankovní licenci

Britská finanční společnost Revolut v pondělí oznámila, že v příštích třech letech plánuje investovat 1 miliardu eur (1,1 miliardy dolarů) do expanze ve Francii a brzy požádá o francouzskou bankovní licenci.

V oznámení v rámci investičního summitu „Choose France“, který pořádal francouzský prezident Emmanuel Macron ve Versailles nedaleko Paříže, Revolut uvedl, že v Paříži otevře novou pobočku pro své aktivity v západní Evropě a ve Francii vytvoří nejméně 200 nových pracovních míst.

Revolut je největší z řady evropských aplikací pro finanční služby založených v uplynulém desetiletí. Má více než 55 milionů zákazníků, ale žádné kamenné pobočky.

Po třech letech čekání získala v roce 2024 bankovní licenci ve Velké Británii.

Revolut již ve Francii zaměstnává přibližně 300 zaměstnanců.

Společnost uvedla, že Litva bude i nadále „klíčovou základnou“ pro růst Revolut v Evropě.

Summit Choose France by měl přinést investice v hodnotě více než 20 miliard eur, uvedl Macron v rozhovoru zveřejněném v pátek v deníku Ouest-France.
