Trump: silný dolar zní dobře, ale se slabším vyděláte mnohem víc

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Americký prezident Donald Trump v pátek prohlásil, že má rád silný dolar, ale se slabším vyděláte mnohem víc peněz.

„Když máme silný dolar, stane se jedna věc: zní to dobře. Ale nemáte žádný turismus. Nemůžete prodávat traktory, nemůžete prodávat nákladní auta, nemůžete prodávat nic,“ řekl Trump v Bílém domě před odletem na cestu do Skotska.

„Je to dobré pro inflaci, to je asi tak všechno.“

Dolarový index, který měří sílu amerického dolaru vůči šesti hlavním měnám, se v pátek stabilizoval poté, co na začátku týdne dosáhl dvoutýdenního minima. Za šest měsíců, co je Trump v úřadu, je stále zhruba o 10 % nižší.
